Courchevel is part of the famous 3 Valleys ski area., along with Meribel, Mottaret, La Tania , Les Menuires and Val Thorens.

There are 650 km of pistes, catering for all levels of ability from absolute beginners to the expert.

It vies with the Portes du Soleil for the title of the largest interlinked ski area. Courchevel itself has some of the best wide tree lined pistes that are north facing and keep their snow.. The lift system is modern and constantly being updated and piste grooming is good, with the 3 Vallees professionals training their North American colleagues.

Courchevel 1550 Ski apartments

Courchevel 1550 is directly below Courchevel 1850 and offers fast, easy access to the main ski areas in the Courchevel valley with links to the rest of the Three Valleys.

The new high speed Tovets, 6 person chairlift whisks you to the centre of Courchevel1850. Ski back to Courchevel 1550 on red, blue and green runs at the end of the day.

There is also a 4 person bubble from the centre of Courchevel 1550 right into the heart of Courchevel 1850, running from 9 am.until 7.30 pm daily.

Courchevel 1850 Ski apartments

There are two major types of lift pass - the Vallée de Courchevel 160 km and the Three Valleys - 650km of pistes. Of all the resorts in the three valleys, Courchevel is the most varied ski area and you may find you have no need to leave the immediate area. On line lift passes

The village of Courchevel 1550 is ideal less hectic than 1650 and less pricey than 1850. Courchevel 1550 retains its rustic village atmosphere, with good bars and restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, Savoyard speciality shops. You can order groceries online from the local Sherpa supermarket for delivery to the chalet on your arrival.
